CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — On Thursday morning, Virginia State Police released the identity of the woman who died at the scene of Tuesday afternoon’s crash in Campbell County.

State troopers say they responded to the single-vehicle crash on Browns Mill Road — about half a mile west of Wisecarver Road — shortly before 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 21.

According to police, a 1998 Toyota 4Runner was traveling west when it ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road, overturned, and struck a tree.

Authorities say the driver — 32-year-old Kathryn B. Stanley of Concord — was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene of the crash, which is still under investigation.
