UPDATE: Driver identified, charged with DUI, other charges after crashing into Lynchburg Museum

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – Police have released the identity of the person who crashed into the back of the Lynchburg Museum Friday evening.

The Lynchburg Police Department says officers responded to the back side of 901 Court Street at approximately 5:52 p.m. on Friday, May 21 for a report of a car that had crashed into the Lynchburg Museum.

According to police, the driver — identified as 46-year-old Frank Eugene Rose — was arrested at the scene and charged with driving under the influence of drugs, reckless driving, and driving on a revoked license.
