University of Lynchburg holds Classes of 2020 and 2021 commencement ceremonies over several days

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The University of Lynchburg will be holding in-person commencement events over the course of several days this week

On Wednesday, May 19, the university held a Baccalaureate Ceremony and the Blessing of Graduates, as well as the presentation of honorary degrees for 2020. If you missed the ceremony, you can watch the recording here.

Then, on Thursday, May 20, the university will honor the Undergraduate Class of 2021. The schedule is as follows:

  • Commencement Ceremony for the Lynchburg College of Arts and Sciences: 9 a.m. at Shellenberger Field | Livestream 
  • Commencement Ceremony for the College of Business, College of Health Sciences, and College of Education, Leadership Studies, and Counseling: 11:30 a.m. at Shellenberger Field | Livestream

The University of Lynchburg will honor the Graduate Class of 2021 and Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) Classes of 2020 and 2021 on Friday, May 21. Ceremonies will occur in the following order:

  • Commencement Ceremony for DMSc Students: 9 a.m. at Shellenberger Field | Livestream
  • Commencement Ceremony for Graduate Classes (Except DMSc Students): 6:30 p.m. at Shellenberger Field | Livestream

The university will also celebrate the Undergraduate and Graduate Classes of 2020 on Saturday, May 22. The combined commencement ceremony will take place at 9 a.m. on Shellenberger Field. You can view the livestream by clicking here.
