BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Two men are behind bars after two separate incidents — a robbery and a deadly fight — early Saturday morning at Lago Pizza in Moneta.

The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Clinton Minter of Bedford, is being charged in connection with the robbery of a 44-year-old Roanoke resident, Shamanique Mickle, at the pizzeria, which took place around midnight.

Then, about two and a half hours later, investigators say Mickle returned to Lago’s Pizza and got in an argument with another man, identified as 49-year-old James Sipos of Huddleston. Sipos was reportedly killed during the confrontation with Mickle.

Authorities say Mickle has been charged with second degree murder, use of a firearm to commit murder, and knowingly and intentionally possessing a firearm after having been convicted of a felony.

Meanwhile, Minter is charged with robbing Mickle by using physical force, resulting in serious injury, according to the sheriff’s office.
