LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR)— The Lynchburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying three people wanted in-connection with a reported robbery.
Officers responded at 6:24 p.m., on Friday, at Sunrise Smoke Shop on Campbell Avenue.
According to police, the caller told them two men went into the store wearing all black clothing and ski style face masks. Police say they were also told that a third person remained outside and held the entrance door open. When the clerk asked them to remove their masks, one of the men allegedly made a statement to the clerk, and then reportedly stole a box of vape cartridges from the counter.
Police said one of the men was armed with what appeared to be a handgun.
According to investigators, all three left the store and went in the direction of 13th Street.
