LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — For the next two weeks, crews will implement a lane closure on a portion of VES Road in Lynchburg in order to install a new gas line from Columbia Gas of Virginia.

According to Lynchburg city officials, in the area around 1215 VES Road, the road will be reduced to one lane from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day from Tuesday, Sept. 21 through Tuesday, Oct. 5, including weekends.

Motorists are asked to expect minor delays, travel with caution through the work zone, be aware of the changes in traffic patterns, and obey temporary signage.
