The driver, who has not been identified by name, was a 19-year-old boy from Goodview. He was wearing a seatbelt, but was taken to the hospital for serious injuries sustained in the crash.

A 14-year-old passenger was also taken to the hospital, but died the next day. He, too, was wearing a seatbelt.
