CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office says a man was arrested after a substantial amount of fentanyl was seized during a narcotics search warrant in Altavista on May 23rd.

On Tuesday, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and Special Response Team executed the warrant in the 4000 block of Marysville Road. Deputies say during the search, they allegedly seized a substantial amount of fentanyl.

As a result, 29-year-old Q’uartez Shakur Robinson, from Altavista, was arrested and charged with possession of Schedule I or II substance with the intent to distribute.

He is being held without bond at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail.
