BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — After investigating several burglaries and larcenies in Bedford County in December, authorities announced Thursday they have arrested one person and are looking for three others in connection with these incidents.

According to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, these burglaries and larcenies took place in the areas of Moneta and Montvale over the course of the months.

Officials say these incidents include the Dollar General burglary in Montvale and the Smith Mountain Laundry larceny from last week, both of which involved the power being cut to the buildings.

As part of the investigation, the sheriff’s office says Harold Morrison was taken into custody on Tuesday, Dec. 28 for several counts of larceny and felony property damage. Morrison was brought to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail before being released on bond.

In addition, authorities say they have obtained warrants for Tracy Wayne Morrison Jr., Teresa Adkins, and Michael Gillespie for larceny, felony property damage, and burglary.

If you have any information about the whereabouts of these three individuals, you are asked to call the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at 540-586-7827 or Central Virginia Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900, which will allow you to remain anonymous and possibly receive a cash reward up to $1,000.
