LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – Sections of the top level of the Mid-Town Parking Deck in Lynchburg will temporarily close this weekend and into early next week.

City officials say that starting Sat., Aug. 14 through Tues., Aug. 17, crews will need to close portions of that parking deck to paint lines on the deck’s surface.

Those wanting to use the parking deck are being asked to park on the west side of the deck during this time.

Operations will be completed in sections to allow access to limited parking spaces as well as the down ramp leading to the lower levels; however, the City says that there could be a short period of time (around 30 minutes) that the ramp will be inaccessible during mobilization.

Accessible parking spaces will be repainted on Mon., Aug. 16 and will not be available for use until later that afternoon.
