Police search for man who robbed Boonsboro Dollar General

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Police in Lynchburg are on the lookout for a man, they say, robbed the Dollar General on Boonsboro Road on Monday night.

The Lynchburg Police Department says officers responded to 6113 Boonsboro Road for a report of an armed robbery shortly before 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18.

According to police, a man entered the store, indicated he had a handgun, and obtained an undisclosed amount of money before running away.

The man was reportedly wearing khakis, black shoes, and a blue and orange Heritage High School hooded sweatshirt.
