Police investigating burglary at Lynchburg BP from late May

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg law enforcement officers are looking into a burglary that took place at a BP on Timberlake Road last month. 

The Lynchburg Police Department says officers were dispatched to 7237 Timberlake Road for an alarm call at a BP on May 30. When police arrived at the scene, they found the front door broken with a rock.

According to authorities, security footage showed a man entering the business and stealing several items and some cash.

Police describe the suspect as a middle-aged man who is approximately six feet tall and 190 pounds.
