LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Police say a pickup truck hit multiple vehicles before crashing into a Bojangles in Lynchburg Thursday morning.

At 9:32 a.m. on Thursday, April 22, the Lynchburg Police Department says officers responded to the Biscuitville and Bojangles on Old Forest Road for a report of a vehicle crash.

According to police, a pickup truck had driven off the right side of the road, hit three parked cars in the Biscuitville parking lot, then traveled across the road to the Bojangles parking lot, where it hit one other parked car and crashed into the Bojangles building.

Department officials say they believe a medical issue was involved in the incident.

Even though nobody was in the parked cars, the driver was reportedly transported to Lynchburg General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, there are no charges at this time.

A Bojangles employee told WFXR News that no employees were injured.
