CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — First responders took a motorist to the hospital Tuesday evening after they discovered a vehicle on its side following a crash in Campbell County.

The Rustburg Volunteer Fire Department says crews responded to a single-vehicle crash near the 1300 block of East Ferry Road shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26.

According to officials, the driver ran off the road and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll about three times before landing on its side.

First responders say they checked on the motorist — who was out of the vehicle — before bringing them to Lynchburg General Hospital.

There is no word on the driver’s condition at this time.
