Mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics scheduled in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Central Virginia Health District will have several COVID-19 mobile vaccination clinics in the Lynchburg area next week.

Each clinic will dispense the Johnson & Johnson vaccine for those 18 years and older.

The health district says the clinics will take place at the following locations:

  • Tuesday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lynchburg Public Library at 2315 Memorial Avenue, Lynchburg
  • Wednesday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Moose Lodge at 2307 Lakeside Drive, Lynchburg
  • Wednesday, June 16 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Jefferson Park at 405 North York Street, Lynchburg
  • Thursday, June 17 from noon to 3 p.m. at Diamond Hill Recreation Center at 1005 17th Street, Lynchburg
  • Thursday, June 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. at College Hill Recreation Center at 811 Jackson Street, Lynchburg
  • Friday, June 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Lynchburg High Apartments at 1301 Park Avenue, Lynchburg
  • Saturday, June 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at Diamond Hill Baptist Church at 1415 Grace Street, Lynchburg

The vaccination events are free and do not require proof of insurance or an appointment.
