Man facing various charges after recent larcenies in Bedford County, authorities say

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — A Bedford man has been taken into custody for multiple charges, including charges related to recent larcenies at a Bedford County self-storage facility.

According to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, Jason Barger was charged on Oct. 27 with three counts of grand larceny and one count of petit larceny in connection with the larcenies at All Size Storage, located at 13000 Moneta Road.

In addition, authorities say Barger was charged with one count of abduction and one count of misdemeanor assault for an unrelated case.

The sheriff’s office announced on Thursday, Nov. 4 that Barger is being held without bond at the Bedford Adult Detention Center.

Officials tell WFXR News they managed to return items to eight different victims, but there are many more that need to be identified.
