Lynchburg Water Resources treating sanitary sewer pipes in sections of the city

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg Water Resources is working with Dukes Root Control to chemically treat over 11,000 feet of sanitary sewer pipes across the Hill City.

During this time, crews are asking residents in the areas below to remove vehicles and other items from the sanitary sewer areas prior to work beginning.

Work will be performed during daylight hours, Monday through Friday for approximately two weeks, starting Monday, April 12.

The areas affected include:

Bell Tavern RoadRamsgate Lane
Bonsack StreetRiverside Drive
Carroll AvenueRoberts Avenue
Clover PlaceRunning Cedar Way
Devonshire RoadSackett Street
Fairview AvenueSheringham Place
Gorman DriveTrents Ferry Road
Hawthorne RoadWakefield Road
Langhorne RoadWards Ferry Road
Lennox StreetWards Road
Locksview RoadWaverly Place
