LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg Water Resources (LWR) will be conducting four weeks of maintenance and surveys to access sewers and manholes throughout the city.

The City of Lynchburg says that LWR will be working with contractor Duke’s Root Control Inc. and consultant RK&K to assess multiple sanitary sewer pipes and manholes throughout the city.

According to city officials, the following work will be completed:

  • 25,260 linear feet of pipeline blockage assessments using acoustic technology
  • GPS coordinate survey of 173 sewer manholes
  • Video inspection of sewer manholes

Although there should be no disturbance to traffic, officials say that LWR is asking residents to remove personal items and vehicles from work areas before Monday, July 25.

  • Falcon Hill Place
  • Forest Hills Circle
  • Fulton Street
  • Glencove Place
  • Hydro Street
  • Interlink Road
  • Link Road
  • Old One Sixty Lane
  • Old Trents Ferry Road
  • Overlink Court
  • Ravenwood Drive
  • Rothowood Road
  • Sedgewick Drive
  • VES Road
  • Wheatland Court
