UPDATE: Lynchburg Police drop charges against man accused of stealing tools

UPDATE 2:29 p.m. 4/23/21: The Lynchburg Police Department says charges have been dropped against Robert Krebs, who is no longer a person of interest in this ongoing larceny investigation.

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Officers with the Lynchburg Police Department are searching for a man, they say, was caught stealing several tools at a residence.

According to the department, officers responded to the 2200 block of Old Forest Road on Tuesday, April 20 for a larceny after security footage showed a man stealing tools from the home.

The man was identified by police as 33-year-old Robert Krebs of Amherst, who is currently wanted for grand larceny.

This investigation is still ongoing.
