Lynchburg Police investigate Thursday night break-in at Family Dollar store

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg authorities are investigating a break-in at a local store Thursday night that resulted in one person being arrested.

At approximately 10:32 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, the Lynchburg Police Department says officers responded to reports of a break-in at the Family Dollar on Fort Avenue.

According to police, a suspect was taken into custody at the scene.

An investigation is reportedly ongoing at this time.
