Lynchburg Police investigate Thursday night shooting on Old Forest Road

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The Lynchburg Police Department is investigating a shooting at a gas station from Thursday night.

Police responded to the Stop In Shell Station at 3239 Old Forest Road at 9:53 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, for a report of a malicious wounding.

A short time later, the department says one person arrived at the Lynchburg General Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

This is an ongoing investigation.
