LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The Lynchburg Police Department has made an arrest surrounding a stolen box of cell phones from Metro by T-Mobile last week.

The department says a man entered the store located at 2605 Memorial Avenue on Jan. 10 and took a box of Samsung cell phones.

On Thursday, Jan. 20, police say they arrested 57-year-old Saunders Miles Franklin, who is now facing grand larceny charges in connection with the incident.

Authorities say they were able to locate and arrest Franklin with the public’s help. There was also a female customer inside during the time of the incident, but she has also been identified.
