LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Starting in June, Lynchburg Parks and Recreation will kick off their summer camp season, featuring week-long, half-day, specialty enrichment camps.

The camps are being offered to children ages 6 and up, including adults.

This summer’s camp line-up features Master Chef Jr., Virtual Scratch Ninja Coding, Make & Bake, Story Maker’s Theater, Broadway Musical Theater, pottery, Magic Tree House Adventure, paddling, archery, and an adult art camp for ages 18 and up.

According to Lynchburg Parks and Recreation, campers will develop special skills and gain knowledge through hands-on instruction, workshops, projects, and more.

Summer camp partners include Create & Learn, Inc.; Building Bridges Productions, Inc.; 7-Hills Art Club; and Renaissance Theater Company.

Lynchburg Parks and Recreation says staff members are working to ensure all camps follow Virginia and CDC guidelines for COVID-19.
