LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg Parks and Recreation is gearing up to open the city’s aquatic facilities in the coming weeks for the summer season.
According to an announcement from Lynchburg Parks and Recreation on Thursday, May 20, Riverside Park Sprayground will open on May 28, followed by the Miller Park Pool on June 12.
Officials say the Riverfront Park Fountain needs to be repaired and will open later this summer.

Lynchburg Parks and Recreation says their staff is working diligently to ensure all facilities are managed under Virginia Department of Health and CDC coronavirus guidelines.
