Lynchburg boxer preps for next big fight which could lead to more opportunities

Lynchburg & Central Virginia News

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg boxer Scot Cujo Sigmon is getting ready for his next big bout in the ring on June 4. He is heading to Mexico to take on Erik Bazinyan.

Bazinyan is 25-0 with 19 knockouts.

Sigmon has been training and says this will be the second-biggest fight of his career — after Kelly Pavlik.

He says he’s excited and a good performance against Bazinyan could lead to additional opportunities.

“The potential to win this fight can make it all mean something. I can have an even bigger fight after this and I can win at the next level.”
