LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Lyn-Dan Heights Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Wards Road on Sunday, Oct. 15.
According to the fire department, dispatch had received multiple calls stating a fire was visible from the engine block across from the Wendy’s on Wards Road at around 6:35 p.m. An engine and a pumper arrived on scene and were able to get the fire out quickly.
Units remained on the scene until approximately 7:15 p.m.
There is no information on what caused the fire at this time.
