UPDATE 9:10 a.m.: Lynchburg emergency officials say the 500 block of Leesville Road is back open after crews cleared the scene of Wednesday morning’s crash.
LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Wednesday morning motorists in Lynchburg may need to seek an alternate route because of a crash in the 500 block of Leesville Road.
The Lynchburg Department of Emergency Services says Leesville Road is completely closed down at this time due to the crash.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area for the time being.
