LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — From Monday morning until Friday afternoon, a portion of Oakley Avenue in Lynchburg will be reduced to one lane so crews can perform gas line repairs in the area.
According to Lynchburg city officials, the 500 block of Oakley Avenue will only have one lane open from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day from Monday, June 28 through Friday, July 2.
Motorists are asked to expect minor delays, use caution while traveling through the work zone, be alert to changes in traffic patterns, and obey temporary signage during this lane closure.
However, emergency vehicles will reportedly have access to the area at all times.
