LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Lynchburg school officials say that Hutcherson Early Learning Center is closed to both in-person and virtual learning on Wednesday due to a power outage.

According to Lynchburg City Schools, the learning center is without power because of a fallen tree and a damaged transformer.

The district says teachers and students do not need to report to Hutcherson Early Learning Center on Wednesday, Sept. 15. There will not be any remote instruction either.
