CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Campbell County Department of Public Safety says one family is out of a home after a fire on the 200 block of Treadway Circle.
According to officials, the fire was reported at 7:51 a.m. at a single-wide home. Officials say there were two people in the home during the incident, with multiple pets.
With the help of the following units, the fire was controlled within 30 minutes:
- Lyn Dan Heights
- Rustburg
- Evington
- Campbell County Public Safety
- Cambell County Sheriff’s Office
Officials say, one person suffered from burn injuries and was taken to VCU Medical Center for treatment. They say one pet died in the fire.
Officials have determined the home a total loss.
The Campbell County Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire remains under investigation.
