CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Virginia State Police (VSP) has reported the driver of a single-vehicle motorcycle accident in Campbell County on March 24 has now passed away.
On Friday the 24th, 45-year-old William Hundley of Glade Hill was traveling south just south of Peak Place on Long Island Road when he allegedly ran off the right side and struck a guard rail.
Police say the incident is still under investigation and that the exact cause of the crash is unknown, but Hundley was wearing a helmet at the time.
Emergency responders transported Hundley to Carilion Roanoke Memorial, but on Thursday, March 30th, he passed away from his injuries.
