LYNCHBURG, Va (WFXR) — An exciting Superbowl Sunday for Kansas City Chiefs’ fans after they claimed their third Superbowl win. Fans were on the edge of their seats, watching the scores go back and forth throughout the whole game and then being tied until the very last minute.
Although there are some pretty disappointed Eagles fans, the Chiefs fans are keeping morale high. Chiefs fan Isaiah Christian tells me he’s been a fan for several years now and seeing them take home the win means the world.
“When the game started, I was feeling great. Second quarter when we started losing, I’m not gonna lie, I was kinda upset, but I knew my boys would come through and get a dub,” said Christian.
Christian along with several other Chiefs fans tell WFXR they’re ready to celebrate this win. It’s safe to say the rainy and cold weather was not enough to keep fans away on this Superbowl Sunday.
A truly nail-biting end to the 57th Superbowl game, but get ready because there are only 364 more days until Superbowl 2024.
