LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — The Lynchburg Fire Department says one family was able to escape after their home caught fire on Friday morning.
On Feb. 24, crews responded to the 2200 block of Park Place and discovered a blaze in an upstairs bedroom. Firefighters immediately began containing the fire. Three adults, three children, and two dogs were able to exit the home with no reported injuries.
The American Red Cross is assisting the family. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
