Elon Elementary School announces temporary halt to in-person instruction due to COVID-19

AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Amherst County Schools officials confirm that Elon Elementary School has been temporarily closed for in-person instruction due to staffing issues related to COVID-19.

Remote learning will take place starting on Tuesday, Jan. 19 through Friday, Jan. 22.

In-person instruction will resume at Elon Elementary School on Monday, Jan. 25.
