LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Deputy Chief Mark Jamison of the Lynchburg Police Department has been appointed to the International Association of Chiefs of Police Crime Prevention Committee.
While working in the committee, Jamison will work with other law enforcement professionals from across the country to develop best practices.
The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is the world’s largest professional association for police leaders. With more than 31,000 members in over 165 countries, the IACP is a recognized leader in global policing, committed to advancing safer communities through thoughtful, progressive police leadership.
Jamison has been a member of the Lynchburg Police Department for 24 years.
