UPDATE: Missing Nelson County woman safely located

UPDATE 8:30 p.m.: Nelson County deputies have confirmed Margaret “Peggy” Ijams Josephson has been safely located.

NELSON COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Nelson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a missing woman with Alzheimer’s.

The woman answers to “Peggy.”

Her full name is Margaret Ijams Josephson, but the woman answers to “Peggy.” She is 66 years old from Roseland, described as being 5’4″ tall and weighing 130 pounds.

Josephson was last seen around 3 p.m. on Monday, May 24, walking on her driveway in the 400 block of Roseland Road wearing brown jeans, a white shirt with black stripes, and dark brown sneakers.

If you see her, you are asked to call the Nelson County Sheriff’s Office at (434) 263-7050.
