Crews clean up 6,380 pounds of trash in Amherst County

AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office says crews cleaned an illegal trash dump site on March 23rd.

On Thursday, Deputy Martin and several crews, including the Amherst County Public Works, helped clean over 6,380 pounds of trash near Lynch’s Ferry Road. The sheriff’s office says several items including tires were collected during the clean-up.

The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information regarding illegal dumping to call Deputy Martin at 434-946-9381.
