Central Virginia Community College closes Saturday due to campus threat

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) — Another local college has announced they have received an email threat.

While not going into specifics, Central Virginia Community College has announced that they will be closed the rest of the day after receiving an email about a threat that was later deemed as unsubstantiated.

Hampden-Sydney College and Averett University also received emails of a threatening nature today, both of which also were determined to be false.
