Campbell County officials confirm repair of 911 system

Lynchburg & Central Virginia News

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Campbell County Department of Public Safety has confirmed that this past weekend’s issues with their 911 system have been repaired.

“The interruption should no longer affect either wireless or landline users, and those in need of emergency services may dial 911 directly.”

Tracy M. Fairchild, Director of the Campbell County Department of Public Safety

The non-emergency number remains operable if anyone experiences issues using wireless devices. That number is (434) 332-9574. This number should only be used if you cannot connect by dialing 911.
