Campbell County first responders combat early morning fire

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Crews in Campbell County were called out early Tuesday morning to combat a fire involving multiple vehicles at a residence.

The Brookville-Timberlake Volunteer Fire Department posted on Facebook on Tuesday, Sept. 21 that units were dispatched just before 3 a.m. to a residential structure fire off Town Fork Road.

When personnel arrived at the scene, the department says they found two vehicles engulfed in flames as the fire approached a mobile home.

Crews from Brookville-Timberlake and another Campbell County fire department worked together to conduct extensive overhaul at the scene of the fire.

There is no word on the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage at this time.
