CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Authorities are asking for the Campbell County community’s help to track down a woman wanted in connection with a strong-armed robbery in Rustburg on Thursday.

According to the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a strong-armed robbery in the Tower Hill Road area shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 23. Medics were also dispatched to the scene.

Officials say the robbery victim was assaulted and a large amount of cash was taken from his wallet.

After investigating the incident, authorities say they obtained warrants for 37-year-old Barbara Clark of Rustburg, for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery.

In addition to Clark, the sheriff’s office says investigators are trying to identify a second female who was reportedly involved in the robbery.

According to authorities, more charges are expected as part of this ongoing investigation.
