UPDATE 5:43 a.m. (10/28/21): Officials announced on Wednesday that the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office arrested Zachary Hedrick, who was wanted for several outstanding charges — including assault and battery on a law enforcement officer — in Campbell County.


CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Campbell County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s help tracking down a man facing a number of charges, including assault and battery on a law enforcement officer.

According to the sheriff’s office, 23-year-old Zachary Hedrick is 5’10” tall, weighs about 170 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes.

In addition to assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, authorities say Hedrick is wanted for possession of a controlled substance, fleeing from law enforcement, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, reckless driving, obstruction of justice, and other charges.
