Bedford County Sheriff’s Office investigate string of vehicle break-ins

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office wants people in the county to be on alert due to a string of vehicle break-ins.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the incidents in the area of Diamond Hill Road in the Goodview/Moneta area.

Deputies say the crimes which were taking place at night, involve one or more people who are targeting unlocked cars and taking items left inside. The sheriff’s office recommends that people keep their cars locked and don’t leave anything valuable inside.
