BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Two high schoolers are facing charges after one of them was injured in a Tuesday afternoon fight in Bedford County.
According to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at approximately 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at Liberty High School.
The sheriff’s office says an argument between two male students escalated into a fight, which resulted in one student sustaining a puncture wound around the facial area. The students were then separated by school employees.
Authorities say the student who started the fight was charged with assault and battery while the other student was charged with malicious wounding.
