BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Looking for a new furry friend? How about a furry friend you can adopt for free from the Bedford County Animal Shelter?

Thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous individual, the Bedford County Animal Shelter is waiving adoption fees for approved applicants until Saturday, July 10.

According to the Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter, Inc., all animals are vaccinated and spayed/neutered.

If you want to see all the cats and dogs available for adoption, you can either come out to the shelter off Falling Creek Road or visit the Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter’s website or Facebook page.

For more information about the animals, you can also reach out to the Bedford County Animal Shelter at (540) 586-7690.
