Bedford County Animal Shelter to hold 6th Annual Spring Bling Adoption Event and Rabies Clinic

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Bedford County Animal Shelter will hold its 6th Annual Spring Bling Adoption Event and Rabies Clinic on Saturday.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 10 from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m. However, the rabies clinic will be 12:30 to 2 p.m.

There will be adoption specials for available shelter pets, and visitors can purchase food such as hotdogs, baked beans, and pasta salad. There will also be homemade baked goods made by shelter volunteers; homemade, all-natural dog treats; artisan soaps; t-shirts; hats; wine glasses; coffee tumblers; and bumper stickers for sale.

The shelter is located at 1307 Falling Creek Road.

The rabies vaccines cost $8, either cash or check. The rabies clinic will be hosted by Riverside Veterinary Hospital in the overflow parking lot at the Bedford County Animal Shelter.

All proceeds benefit Friends of Bedford County Animal Shelter.
