UPDATE: Bedford County Sheriff’s Office confirms 911 issues resolved

UPDATE 4:40 p.m.: The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the 911 issues from earlier on Tuesday have been resolved.

All emergencies in Bedford County may again use 911; however, if you have any difficulties using that number, you may continue to call 540-586-7827.

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — If you have an emergency in Bedford County Tuesday morning, you may need to call a number other than 911.

Officials with the Bedford 911 Communications Center say they are experiencing intermittent issues with their 911 lines.

If you run into problems when dialing 911 in Bedford County, you are asked to call 540-586-7827.
