Authorities investigate items stolen at Bedford County’s Olde Mill Primitives

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – Police in Bedford County are investigating a report of a theft that occurred Friday night.

Surveillance footage showed that a two-toned, single cab, dark-colored pick-up truck with light trim backed up to Olde Mill Primitives at 1167 Wildcat Road and loaded a picnic table and a scythe into the bed of the truck and left the scene, traveling west on Highway 24 at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, May 7.

The individual responsible for the theft appeared to be a white, middle-aged male who was balding and wearing a hoodie and jeans.

Footage could not indicate the make or model of the pick-up truck.

If you have any information about the incident, you are asked to call Deputy Cosby at (540) 586-7827 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-798-5900. Tips from the Crime Stoppers line could be eligible for up to a $1,000 reward.
