AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — The Amherst Police Department is partnering with Amherst Social Services for its Third Annual Toy Drive.
The toy drive will run from Monday, Nov. 9 to Thursday, Dec. 10. New toys will be accepted at the following locations:
- Amherst Town Hall at 186 S Main Street
- Amherst Police Department at 174 S Main Street
- The Filling Station at 102 Lexington Turnpike
The department would prefer items to be unwrapped, but wrapping supplies are welcome. Their goal this year is more than 500 toys.
