Amherst County Public Schools offering optional vaccine clinic to students 16 years or older

AMHERST COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) — Amherst County Public Schools is offering an optional Pfizer coronavirus vaccine clinic to students age 16 and older on Friday afternoon.

The clinic will take place at Amherst County High School from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 30. No appointment is necessary, but doses will be administered on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Parents of students less than 18 years old should attend with their child and provide written parental consent.

The second dose of the vaccine will be administered on Friday, May 21 from 1 to 3 p.m.
